Oh..Kristina...I know exactly how you feel about deputation. It's so very hard. Especially on the Mom.
Our depuation was a fairly short one compared to most but it was torture for me.
I've tried to spiritualize it...the time spent in so many different churches, meeting so many different, fantastic people.....all that sounds wonderful, and at times it was.
But I'm so glad we're past that phase of our ministry now......and in due time, you will be too...To God Be The Glory!!
And yes....there is a normalcy you can achieve while on the field...and Americanism will begin to seem weird!
